Substitute Teacher
Perform a variety of duties to assist and support the classroom teacher in his/her absence. Responsible for implementing lesson plans, classroom management, and communication with school administration and classroom teacher about student progress or concerns.
After School Tutor
Provide supervision, support, and instruction for students in a positive, encouraging, and engaging environment. Must be able to present content in a variety of ways in order to engage even the reluctant of students. Strong communication skills in order to keep parents, classroom teacher, and administration up to date with student progress. Must demonstrate command of vertical alignment and deconstructing a lesson to it's essential components or extending upon a lesson to challenge and engage a student that may lack motivation otherwise.
